They grow up so fast

Well, I didn't save all of their jobs. It was too little too late. I'm not going to babysit them, though. Max got fired, or possibly quit, and Larry and Lexie both got demoted. On the other hand, Wyatt has reached level 6 in his career and Tyler's at level 5.

Ronnie's new friend Georgia was visiting him, and she seems to like him a lot. She likes his jokes. I had to age her up because she was only a teen and I won't have him robbing the cradle. Just look at that smile on his face. I think he's sweet on her. I hope for good things there. Maybe even before I finish the next long rotation. He's also been working out a little and gotten a promotion, even though he and his boss still can't stand each other.

Speaking of AJ, it looks as though she and Sam have moved away again. I don't like it, but they're going to have to stay gone this time. Free will is free will, after all.

Rachel was teaching Riley to talk. Judging by the look on her face, he's doing fairly well. The reason I wanted this picture was that they brought along their own rug to sit on, which I'd never seen before. Unfortunately, in my haste I clicked in the wrong place and caused them to stop what they were doing. I tried to get them to do it again, but they didn't put the rug down again.

Tyler and Talia forgot to pay their bills, and the repo man came. They slept through it.

The other kids all had birthdays. The first thing I did was go around and give some of them more becoming hairstyles and everyday clothes, and get rid of the cribs and books (I hate having to type that last part).

Stephanie's a teen now, so she gets some skill books. She's allowed to wear makeup now, too, although her daddy said no to the gloppy eyeshadow. I might take her to City Hall and change her name so it's spelled "right." I can't keep remembering to spell it Stephenie.

Let me take a pic of each of the kids, and I'll leave the household rotation until next time. I've been sitting here fighting with CAS and CASt for hours and I'm starving.

Sharla Sharma
(heavy sleeper, evil, mean spirited)

She just didn't feel like smiling. You can still see her  pretty eyes, though.

Stephanie Townsend
(brave, insane, genius, friendly)

Stephanie is very excited to be a young lady. She aged up into long hair like her mom's, which unfortunately didn't look at all good on her. With short hair she's very pretty. I lightened it just a touch, too. Now if she'll only make friends in high school.

Freddie Alexander
(loves the outdoors, genius, evil)

Definitely got his dad's pretty eyes. With those traits, I won't be surprised if he becomes a mad scientist.

Carter Townsend
(brave, absent-minded, grumpy)

Carter stayed adorable. What else can I say?

I'll try for a longer update later.

  1. Talk about a bunch of good-looking kids! Stephanie aged up very well, so pretty. Carter still looks so sweet.

That's a shame that the game moved out Sam and AJ again. At least you have a good pic of their son!

I've never seen the rug trick. I wonder if it has something to do with WA or Rachel's traits?

  2. The rug thing has to be WA. I have never seen that.
I love them all. They are all beautiful. Okay, the boys are handsome and the girls are beautiful.

I hope Ronnie has found his love. He looks so taken with her and happy.

Carter just looks like he's saying: I'm cute and I know it. All I'll have to do is use this look and I'll have all the girls.

  3. Glad Ronnie is hitting it off so well.

Too bad that Sam and AJ have moved. Keep an eye on the neighborhood, they could move back if AJ is still someone's boss. Celia did that to me last Sam game. She left her one house, stayed away for about two weeks. Then she was back in a new place.

Rachel looks so happy with her little one.

Sharla is going to be a heartbreaker. And interesting to play with that set of traits, wow.

    Stephanie is very pretty.

Freddie is a handsome chap. How is his virtual uncle William taking him growing up?

Carter is just too too cute. He needs a snuggle even if he is a big boy now.

  4. Awww.. Robbie and Georgia are so sweet :) Blonde moment.. how did you age her up? Did you go to her house to do it?

I hate that we have to get rid of books too, it seems a sacriledge. But have you noticed, even if they have no darn bookshelf, they still manage to find a book somehow. LOL

Sharla is beautiful...LOL, I showed her nibsness, she said..
"Wow, she's pretty, but she looks evil"
HUH? LOL, kids.. I guess that is just the way she sees it.

WOW at Stephanie, where did you get that gorgeous hairstyle? It reminds me of the style Melissa Gilbert wore when she was younger.

Freddie looks like he is plotting something, and as for Carter... LOL, I really have the urge to pinch those cheeks!

  5. Long comment.

To Worsie ~ Yes, I switched to her house to age her up. Her family is enormous and all the women look alike. Yes, I've noticed the thing about the books. Every single time I switch households I have to clean out their backpacks again.

Sharla is indeed evil and mean spirited. She gest it from her father. I'm going to confess that I was suprised that you all found her beautiful. I'm glad none of you saw either of my girls before I gave them a makeover. The hair is a great improvement. I'm relieved Becky likes her. I was afraid she might be disappointed that she's not as pretty as her mom. There's hope for her personality, too. Her dad is evil and mean, but he's never mean for long, and he makes friends anyway. I like him. The hair is from WA. It may be my current favorite hairstyle.

Freddie is evil, too, so he probably was plotting something. I know what you mean about Carter. My reaction exactly.

To PiB ~ re: Uncle William. William and Wyatt seem to think Freddie is their new playmate rather than their son and "nephew." I lost the save so this won't be in the blog, but they let him skip his first day of school to hang out with them at the pool. I sent him to school and lectured them about adult responsibilities, and they blew me off. After school they took him to the gym instead of making him do his homework. Hee, hee.

  6. Oh, I forgot. I have a question for you all, and may as well ask it here. Hardly any of my kids ever has any homework. For that reason, they're not doing well in school. I have no clue how to make them improve their marks if I can't make them do their homework. Have any of you had this problem?

  7. I have noticed this lack of homework in the backpack thing, but it appears to be random and doesn't happen with all the kids. I especially noticed that over the weekend there was no HW in their backpacks.

  8. Nice to know that mean is like grouchy. It has the occasional effect but it's not much of one.

I felt the same way when everyone said Laura was pretty. Pre her makeover, she wasn't. Not hideous but not pretty at all. The right hair and clothes make a big difference.

Neat story about Freddie. Should have know his dad would be no better than his uncle. :)

Homework, I pretty much only see it in the kids that are in the family I'm playing. But keep in mind that kids won't be claimed by social services even if they fail school. Also in free will, you probably weren't going to be there to pick a trait so there's less point in trying to have them do well so you can pick a trait. :)

Growing someone up, I've done it via a cake in the household that needed them to be older. Most notably Darlene Bunch Malcolm's girlfriend and he were both teens. The Landgraab family bought two cakes. Malcolm aged first then Darlene. By the next night, they were wed.

  9. Sometimes I go to their house and they have homework and sometimes not. I think they skip school a lot when we aren't playing them. I know I catch them out other places when they should be in school. I have found them at the pool, the library and park before. Same with the parents. They will skip work sometimes when we aren't there. sometimes they will skip when we are there.

I love that hair. I want more hair, darn it.

Sharla is still pretty. I've seen that face shape before and when the sim aged to young adult she was really pretty.

  10. I got a Social Services popup with Casey Ice. Her socialisation was very low and her HW was C. She had not made friends with any family members besides her mom Claire. Her mood was bright red though.

It said something along the lines of parents who do not pay attention to the needs of their children will get the children taken away.

I clicked the "meet new friends" or whatever it is option when she was at school.
