A very quick peek

Just a quick peek around town this time, because I know Rachel's baby was about to age up, and I want to see what's happening with poor little Stephenie.

I found Larry and Becky at the park for an adults day out. Later on, they took Sharla for an outing at the pool. Tyler went to the park and played foosball by himself. I'd say moving the park was a distinct, albeit small, improvement.

I saw my first bonafide foreign tourist! I'd seen sims around town in foreign garb, but they always had American sounding names and turned out to live in town. This guy actually has the appellation "tourist" after his name. He's even carrying around his camera, snapping pictures to show the folks back home in Al Simhara.

Here's Rachel and Max's boy, Riley. His favorite food is frog's legs. Don't ask me where a toddler learns to like frog's legs. Max was skipping work to watch TV.

The entire Wyatt/Manchester household went to the art museum after work. Apparently, William finally got tired of wearing that suit. He look as if he's thinking, "Watch out now, Walker. That's my little buddy you've got there and I know how to handle him. Don't you drop him."

Stephenie has raised her grades to a B already. Good girl! She hadn't done her homework, so I had her get help from her mom. Tyler was visiting at his boss's house.

As far as I'm concerned, Carter doesn't even have to do anything but stand there and look cute.

Sam and AJ had a visitor, somebody named Tiffanie who I can't place. I thought she was extraordinarily pretty for a townie, but she's not nice at all. She picked a fight with Sam and, when he asked her to behave, stormed out in a huff and took her petty revenge on their trashcan.

"Take that, diabolical rubbish bin! I can whip you with one hand stuccoed behind my back!"

  1. Oh, this is good. LOL That last pic is hilarious.
Yes, Carter doesn't need to do anything. He makes me want to just snuggle him.

And Wyatt is thinking, will someone just shut him up. I know how to hold a baby, for petes sake.

I'll bet Riley thinks if he smiles big enough and looks cute enough they'll give him frog legs instead of that creamed baby mush.

  2. Riley just has very sophisticated tastes! Carter is snuggable. Tyler and Talia make very good looking babies. William is really keeping an eye on Wyatt. *laughs* "Don't drop my...er...your baby, Wyatt!"

  3. LOL at Riley's favorite food... eww!

That was so awesome that you saw a tourist! Hopefully he didn't bump into trashcan girl leaving him with a bad impression of the townies LOL

  4. Riley is just trying to ensure that Rachel takes him along when she goes to France. Surely mom would want him to eat his fav food, no?

William definitely needs a toddler of his own, he just is waiting for Freddie to be put down for one second! I like that scruffy musician outfit he has on. :)

Carter really is a cutie. Just makes you want to snuggle him!

If Sam catches that townie kicking his can, he'll certainly teach her a lesson in manners. :)

  5. Yum, yum!!! Frog legs... don't remember how young I was when I first had frog legs, but my real life grandfather had me eating and loving frog legs when I was very young.

"Tastes just like chicken", he would always say. I can't count the number of frog leg dinners my grandpa treated me to, up until the time he passed away.

He always took me to Tony Packo's in Toledo. Yes, the one and same Tony Packo's that the Mash character Corporal Max Klinger is most commonly credited for putting Packo's on the map.

But I can assure you that Tony was doing very well way before then. Geez, just writing about this makes me hungry.

  6. I have had frog legs as well when I was young. But I don't really remember the taste and eventually married someone who studies frogs. He told me about how they collect frog legs. It's pretty horrible. Now I just couldn't eat that.

  8. I used to love frog legs. Cooked them, ate them in restaurants, etc...

One night I was in a restaurant with them on my plate, and for some reason I started feeling sorry for the frogs. I have never been able to eat them since.
